Here’s a quick troubleshooting checklist if you’re having trouble opening Spend Smarter or using any of its features. The same list applies if you’re struggling with other apps, too.
- Make sure you’ve got the latest version of the app. If your phone doesn’t automatically update apps, you can do this manually by heading to the App Store or Google Play Store and tapping Update.
- Check you have a stable WiFi or mobile signal. If not, you might need to wait until you have better reception before the app and its features work as they should.
- Have you changed your phone or email address recently? Both of these can sometimes cause an issue. Send an email to our support team and they’ll help to get you back up and running again.
- In rare cases there might be a tech issue on our side. This usually won’t affect opening the app, and we’ll add a banner to the top of the app’s Home screen to explain the issue and likely timescale until it’s resolved.
