There are several reasons why your transaction may have declined, these include:
- You may not have enough money in your Spend Smarter account
- You have entered the incorrect details (PIN, CVV, Expiry date)
- Your card is blocked because the PIN has been entered incorrectly three times. If this is the case, please send an email to smarter.support@hyperjar.com, and we can unblock it for you
- Your card is frozen
- Your card has expired
- Your card is damaged
- The merchant does not accept Mastercard payments
