If you believe you have been the victim of fraud or hacking, or that someone else may have found your card and account details, the first thing to do is to freeze your Spend Smarter card.
To do this, tap on the 'Card' icon in the top right-hand corner of the main account screen and toggle the 'Freeze card' option. Your card will then show as 'Frozen'. This will prevent any further transactions, spending or withdrawals from taking place until you unfreeze the card.
You can then contact our Customer Support team. You can do this by sending an email to smarter.support@hyperjar.com. Our team will talk you through the next steps to secure your account, which includes contacting the retailer or merchant if there are any unrecognised transactions, and reporting the incident on the Police Action Fraud website.
